The organisation's community-interest purpose focuses especially on vulnerable adults and young people, primarily people with learning or physical disabilities and/or mental health issues in the North East of England.

A company structure designed around community benefit
Workyticket CIC was incorporated as a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee. Its constitutional documents state that the organisation is not established for private gain and that its activities are intended principally for the benefit of the community.
How the community model works
The formation documents describe community-benefit activity centred on vulnerable adults and young people. They also state that surplus is intended to be reinvested into expanding and improving services, widening geographical reach and engaging more people.
